For a large memorial portrait such as 16 × 20 inches, the quality of the original photograph is especially important. We will review the photograph and let you know if there are limitations before completing the final file.

3. Any specific instructions you have
4. The date the portrait is needed, especially if the funeral service is approaching quickly

If the photograph is from a printed photo, please provide a high-quality scan or the original digital image whenever possible.

Please do not take a photograph of a printed photograph if a scan or original digital file is available.

Every photograph is different.

Photo enhancement cannot completely restore information that was never captured in the original photograph. For example, an extremely small, heavily blurred, or severely damaged photograph may have limitations.

If you are unsure whether your photograph can be improved, send us the photograph before ordering. We can review it and let you know what may be possible.
